Mekhela Sador — The Pride of the Northeast

A traditional two-piece stunner, the Mekhela Sador is a timeless weave from Assam, rich in heritage and culture.

Handwoven in interior villages by skilled artisans, each set takes 15–20 days to complete — crafted with care, patience, and expertise. These are not just garments, but heirloom pieces that celebrate the beauty of the Northeast.

Dipannita and Riniki, both proudly Northeastern, are honoured to share these handwoven treasures with you.

Note: Please refer to close-up images for weave and colour details. Slight colour variation may occur due to lighting, display settings, or the natural dual-tone (dhoop-chaaya) effect in some sarees. As these are handwoven pieces, minor weave irregularities may be present — they are not flaws, but part of the charm and authenticity of handmade textiles.
